Website development is a major undertaking that requires interaction between the client and multiple professionals - project managers, information architects, designers, programmers, copywriters, etc. There are so many moving parts, something important could easily get missed. So it makes sense to have a checklist to walk through that identifies all of the key deliverables and other items that need to be in place for launch. Here's a website launch checklist we found on one blog that we think is quite thorough (e.g., covering things like typography, layout, spelling, standards, SEO, etc.), and therefore should prove extremely helpful to any marketers managing a website development project. Of course, there might be issues specific to law firm websites that some may wish to add to the list, but it certainly provides a great starting point.
